Established in 2002 as the Drug and Alcohol Research Group, the group became a recognised Middlesex University Research Centre in 2010. DARC undertakes international and national interdisciplinary projects using mixed method approaches. The centre also provides consultancy services.
Our staff have experience in social science, policy analysis and health research. They are involved in projects funded by research councils, international organisations, the European Union, government departments, major charities and local authorities.
